Rupal and I met in the trenches at USDA as we worked hard to architect a solution to help the food safety compliance office track their investigations and activities. Thirteen years ago, but sometimes the friends you make in the trenches are ones you can keep in touch with, meet for coffee, or send an encouraging message to from time to time. Rupal’s hard work and effort supporting the program continues to pay off for the agency and resonates with me to this day.
